The wine that made me love wine. The masterful Anne Claude Leflaive produced some of the greatest wines of all time. The Chevalier Montrachet and Batard Montrachet are often unmatched.
Domaine Hubert Lamy
One of my favorite “value” wines. Olivier Lamy is based in the village of Saint- Aubin he trained at Domaine Meo-Camuzet in Vosne. (Home of the great Henri Jayer) The High density bottlings are incredibly sought after. Classic refined pure and mineral, these wines see large vessels and at the most 15% new french oak. His holding in Criots Batard Montrachet is just above Leroy’s Domaine d’Auvenay.
